PRODUCTAdvanced screens, Slimline Doors and Advanced Inward opening Secondary Glazing
ARCHITECT / CONTRACTORClient project
ABOUT PROJECTThe manor house dates from around 1800 with the estate today being privately owned and run as a farm. The house and outbuildings have undergone extensive renovations phased over a number of years, the aim being to repurpose disused outbuildings into serviced offices, conference rooms and a dining hall.
Large arched screens with doors fill the external coach house openings, whilst internally, the vast opens spaces have been separated by expansive floor to ceiling double glazed screens.
Within the manor house itself, corridors of large arched windows within the complex have been fitted with secondary glazing to preserve the original fenestration. Most of which are side hinged and inward opening for ventilation and cleaning, others covering circular windows are fixed into position with screw tabs which will allow the secondary glazing to be removed.
